ray parlour. he played for arsenal. he wasn't a bad player. from time to time he would show flashes of brilliance (he once scored a hat trick against werder bremen you know) but he wasn't the most exciting of players. i cant imagine many kids fighting over a panini sticker with his ugly mug pasted on it. i cant imagine many people chatting on their way to highbury saying "i cant wait to see ray parlour play today,wonder what he's guna do!" thats because there were better,more exciting players in the arsenal team. dennis bergkamp*,nicolas anelka*,robert pires* the list could go on...
so to summarise,the two door cinema club album is alright,good in parts,but there are other bands that do it better.
